The luxury ground floor apartment is reached via a gravel pathway from the ample parking area leading through to the private Manor courtyard. Wheelchair access is possible via the main courtyard and back door to the apartment.
The Great Hall is a beautifully designed, self-catering, apartment that has an abundance of character expected from a listed building - with high ceilings and striking features such as the Great Hall’s window, authenticated to 1680. The apartment’s most striking feature is a huge, light and airy integrated living space with dining area, looking out through the Elizabethan window, where if you look carefully you can see original graffiti.
The outlook, through the magnificent bow window overlooks the sheltered, exotically, planted Court Yard, which can be accessed through the ‘back’ door for a refreshing cup of tea or relaxing glass wine on a sunny afternoon.
The Great Hall has digital TV with Freeview, DVD, and sound system, together with two high quality sofa beds. WiFi is available on the site.
The integrated kitchen is well equipped with Microwave, Cooker, Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron and board and washer-dryer, although there is a really convenient laundrette about 10 meters from the apartment front door.
The non-smoking apartment sleeps sleeps 4+ with the spacious master bedroom having views out onto a landscaped area with morning sun filtering in through the window and is fitted with ample, modern bedroom furniture including digital TV and DVD player.
The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed (standard double base and standard single top) suitable either for a second couple or for fun loving children.
The high-specification modern bathroom includes a bath and power-shower and heated towel rail.
Kenegie Manor Amenities
The Manor House apartments share a private garden at the rear and front of the house, which provides ample space to sit and enjoy the sunshine, particularly the courtyard at the front of the Manor, which acts as a sun-trap.
There is a dedicated dog walking area and dogs can be walked throughout the entire 11 acres of grounds, but they must be kept on leads at all times, and pooper scoop is a must!
There is a heated indoor pool (with a pool assistant) and sauna (available free from March to October) approximately 50 meters from the apartment door.
Likewise there is a licensed bar, open from 6.00pm to 11.00pm each night (excluding Wednesdays), serving drinks and light snacks.
There is also free access to 2 tennis courts and a children's play area.
